The Satellite Santa Cruz & Digital Media Studio is a non-profit organization apart of the Satellite Workplaces network! When you rent video equipment or use our studio or coworking space, you help support media education and public use for the Santa Cruz County.
Open coworking, dedicated desks, phone cubes, private office, meeting and conference rooms are available for both members and non-members. Members receive discounted rates in all plans and 24/7 access.

Satellite Workplaces is a network of professional workspace centers located in community commercial districts. We cater to a diverse clientele, including telecommuters, solopreneurs, consultants, therapists, grad students, and startups. Our members are typically individuals who need a quiet space to work, a place to meet others, or those who thrive in a collaborative work environment.
Our Santa Cruz center features a variety of spaces:
All spaces come furnished with desks, ergonomic chairs, and secure WiFi. Private offices and workstations include locking storage and wired broadband connections. Phone connectivity is available for a small fee.
Pricing varies based on the type of space and duration of use (hourly, daily, monthly, or 24/7 access). For specific rates, please contact your nearest Satellite location or check the Facility Page on our website.
Members can reserve space online, by phone, or in person. We recommend non-members call in advance to ensure availability. Walk-ins are welcome during regular business hours.

By signing up for membership with Satellite Workplaces, you acknowledge and agree that: (1) your membership does not create a landlord-tenant relationship; (2) you are not acquiring any leasehold interest, real property rights, or similar estate interests; (3) your membership constitutes a revocable license to access and use designated spaces and services in accordance with your selected membership plan; (4) you are not entitled to any rights, protections, or remedies typically afforded to commercial tenants under applicable state or local real estate, landlord-tenant, or similar laws; and (5) any use of lease-related terminology in Satellite Workplace’s marketing materials, including but not limited to its website, advertisements, and promotional content, is solely for marketing purposes and shall not be construed as creating or offering a lease agreement.
This membership arrangement may be modified or terminated as provided in the Membership Agreement, and your rights and obligations are exclusively defined by that agreement, not by any lease or tenancy laws.
