Tell me about your business?
The office of Ginny Estupinian Ph.D. is a full-service psychology center providing individual therapy, neurofeedback, virtual reality therapy, and both neuropsychological and psychological assessments. I work with individuals as young as 16 years of age and all the way up to seniors. My office also provides a full range of geriatric psychological services and support for these caregivers.
How did you initially get started in your industry? What drew you to this industry?
I was drawn to this work by witnessing firsthand the debilitating effects of post-traumatic stress disorder in a distant family member. I wanted to understand not only how trauma changes the brain, but also what could be done to treat this condition. My doctoral training allowed me to train not only at the county hospital but also at the Veterans Administration and the center for survivors of torture. The combination of a strong academic education coupled with the practical experience gained from these training centers has given me the tools to work with my clients today.
What brought you to Satellite Workplaces?
I needed the flexibility to expand my office as it has continued to grow. Having access to a professional setting, private office, and group meeting room has been invaluable.
What’s your favorite thing about Satellite Workplaces?
My favorite thing about Satellite Workplaces has to be the wonderful staff who always make me feel welcome and are willing to help in any way possible. This is such a lost art today. Since the very first time I walked into the center, I have always been received with kindness and made to feel right at home.
How do you balance work and personal time?
This is always a challenge especially as I am in the growth phase of my business. Nonetheless, it is imperative that I find the time to disconnect and rejuvenate. I really enjoy spending time with my family and being outdoors whether it is at the beach or in the woods hiking.
